Lanka Veranda doesn’t process personal data because it’s not possible to leave personal data on our website (also read the heading “Contact forms”). We also don’t use social media plugins.

Our contact form doesn’t store your data. Your submission is directly forwarded to Nor Lanka, which is the party that manages bookings for Lanka Veranda.

Lanka Veranda uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These make sure that the website works as expected and that – for example – your settings are remembered. How we protect your data/session
– Our system is equipped with Patchman, with which we – next to the regular WordPress updates – keep our website protected against vulnerabilities.
– TLS (previously SSL) We send your data through a secured connection. This is indicated through the prefix ‘https’ in your address bar and the padlock in your address bar.
– DKIM, SPF and DMARC are three internet standards we apply to prevent that you receive emails in our name that contain viruses, are spam or are meant to intercept your personal data.
– DNSSEC is an additional security layer (on top of DNS) for resolving a domain name ( into its IP address; it is provided with a digital signature. You can verify this signature through an automated process. That way, we prevent that you are redirected to a malicious IP address.

Lanka Veranda doesn’t take any decisions based on automatic processing about cases that can have (significant) consequences for people who use our website.
